Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines(TECO) has made an official announcement that from the beginning of 1 November 2017, Philippine passport holders has been able to travel to Taiwan visa-free for stays of up to 14 days, provided certain conditions are met. Just so you can say you've been to Taiwan's southernmost point, there's a stone marker showing exactly that about 1.2km southeast of Eluanbi Park where Eluanbi Lighthouse is.
