Jiufen(九份), a former gold mining town on the northeast coast of Taiwan, is one of the most relaxing and magical tourist site in Taiwan. There are two convenient ways to get to Jiufen from Taipei, one by MRT, then transfer to bus, the other one by train, then transfer to bus. On the way, we will pass by Jiufen Old Street and The New Taipei City Government Gold Museum, and the destination will be at Chuen Ji Hall. You can choose freely which station to stop base on your travel itinerary.

【 MRT-Bus Transfer 】
(1) Bannan line●Zhongxiao Xinsheng station ➨ 1062 bus
The most famous bus from Taipei to Jiufen is bus 1062, you can catch it at Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT station in Taipei, the 1062 bus can travel from MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing station all the way to Jinguashih. this route map shows that the bus starts from Taipei via the National Freeway No. 1 and finally to Jinguashi. The route starts from MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station  and ends at Chuen Ji Hall (勸濟堂).

1062 Bus stop location : Once you are got to Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, take Exit 2, keep going straight on the right side as the picture below shows, you will find the bus stop.

(2) Songshan-Sindian line●Xindian Station ➨ 1062 bus
1062 Bus stop location : Once you are got to Xindian Station, take Exit 4, turn right and go straight, you will see the bus stop.

【 Train-Bus Transfer 】
If you take this route, you will have to first take a Local train, Chu-Kuang Express or Tze-chiang limited express to Ruifang then a transfer to 1062 and 788 bus.
