We think tourists visiting to Taipei don’t have to go to popular attractions everytime.In fact, Daan Forest Park is also a good choice. Moreover,it is easily accessible by bus and MRT.
Dann Forest Park is an ecological park with a forest-like environment. Park roads are lined with trees such as camphor, cajuput, ficus and maples. Bushes and flower beds are planted throughout the park to help make the park into a lush, green space. The park is likened to the lungs of Taipei.
This is Taipei’s Central Park, where the city comes to play. And play it does, from kids rollerblading to teens shooting hoops and enjoying ultimate Frisbee to old men engaged in xiàngqí (Chinese chess).Futhermore,There are many lovely and fun recreational facilities such as: big sandpit, see-saw, slide, climbing frame, etc.The park is a great place to hang out in or to stroll around after a meal on nearby Yongkang St. It’s also a great location for a picnic.
In the early mornings, you’ll see folks practising taichi, and in the evenings, ballroom dancing. On big holidays, especially Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year, the amphitheatre hosts free stage shows featuring some of the biggest names in Taiwanese entertainment.
