If you like to walk through the forest trail no matter in the early morning or in the evening, there is a secret trail that worth to visit in Tainan. Even locals might not know this place, are you interested? The HuShan trail is right behind the HuShan elementary school. It’s quite difficult to find this place if you first time travelling here.

Have you ever seen the ”My Neighbor TOTORO “, the art of Japanese anime master Hayao Miyazaki? It’s a film that is full of fairy tale colour and the warmth of family, the success of the audience into a fantastic fairy tale world. The two young girls discover that the nearby forest is inhabited by magical creatures called Totoros. One of the famous scenes is that the two sisters walk through the beautiful forest tunnel. The Hushan trail looks just like the beautiful tunnel in the film due to the rows of Terminalia aurantia!

When walking through the trail, the atmosphere and the fendol do make people ease. It’s quite a good place for walking and exercising. By the way, don’t forget to bring mosquito repellent!
