From haunted mazes and terrifying performances to family-friendly parades and themed attractions, there’s something for everyone during this limited-time event. Whether you’re a horror fan or a die-hard anime lover, here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your spooky adventure.

Universal Studios: Park Hours and Tickets

Halloween festivities usually run from early September to early November. During this season, park hours are often extended—typically from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekdays and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekends. In addition to regular 1-day tickets, 1.5-day and 2-day passes are available, allowing guests more time to explore. For a smoother experience, consider purchasing an Express Pass to skip long lines, especially during peak Halloween crowds.

Costume Guidelines

Guests are welcome to come in costume, but certain rules apply to ensure safety and comfort for all. Avoid overly revealing, gory, or terrifying outfits, full-face coverings, or impersonations of staff members. Also, scary costumes are not allowed in family areas like Universal Wonderland or Minion Park. Park staff may ask guests to adjust costumes if necessary, so be sure to check the latest dress code before your visit.

Resident Evil: The Extreme+

Join forces with iconic characters from the Resident Evil game series in this immersive, 360-degree outdoor experience. Fend off zombies and navigate chaotic city streets as you fight to survive the night. Available after 6 PM through November 4.

Chucky’s Carnival of Chaos

Step into Chucky’s twisted world in this terrifying maze filled with gruesome surprises. Operating from 10:00 AM until park closing, this attraction is not for the faint-hearted and is restricted to guests 15 and older.

Death Eaters at Hogsmeade

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter turns darker during Halloween as Death Eaters stalk the streets of Hogsmeade, casting dark spells and spreading fear. The ominous Forbidden Forest sets the mood, making it an atmospheric must-see.

Chainsaw Man: The Chaos 4D

Fans of the hit anime won’t want to miss this 4D theater experience. Fight demons alongside Denji and other fan-favorite characters in a high-intensity battle that blends visual effects, motion seats, and sensory surprises.

Pokémon Halloween Party

For younger visitors and Pokémon fans, the Halloween dance party featuring DJ Pikachu, DJ Gengar, and other ghost-type Pokémon is a colorful and energetic experience. Special lighting effects enhance the party starting October 14.

All-Night Horror Night (October 18 Only)

For the ultimate fright fest, mark your calendar for October 18. From 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, the park hosts its first-ever all-night horror event. Top attractions like Super Nintendo World and Harry Potter World stay open late, while terrifying experiences like Resident Evil and Chainsaw Man go into overdrive.
