Hanzhong Store (漢中門市)

Set in the vibrant Ximending area, the Hanzhong Store is Starbucks’ first renovated heritage building. Designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, the Huilan Store in Hualien is built using shipping containers—29, to be exact—collected from global port cities like New York, Baltimore, Marseille, and Barcelona. Stacked to form an inverted pyramid design, the four-story building is a popular Instagram spot. The interior features vibrant colors and motifs reflecting the Amis (阿美族) indigenous tribe, showcasing local culture through artistic wall installations.

Shalu Beishi Store (沙鹿北勢門市)
