Every Wednesday evening in July at 8:00 PM, there will be an exciting fireworks show; and on Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine’s Day)—a grand-scale fireworks extravaganza is planned. In addition to the fireworks, you can also look forward to a romantic classic love song concert and a lively market. Whether you’re planning a fun outing with friends to explore the market and soak up the summertime vibes, or heading there with your partner for a riverside stroll under shimmering fireworks, the Dadaocheng Summer Festival is the place to be this summer.
Dadaocheng Container Eateries: Deluna Korean Cuisine

Nothing beats delicious food when you’re enjoying live music and scenic views! At the Dadaocheng Container Market, you’ll find diverse international flavors, and Deluna stands out for its Korean dishes—easily spotted by the owner’s enthusiastic greeting. This spot has everything from simple snacks like fish cakes and fried hot dogs to more filling options like Korean fried chicken and Tteokbokki. Craving something to pair with Korean soju? Try the grilled pork belly, boasting a lightly charred, chewy texture that’s perfect for washing down with a cold drink.
Dadaocheng Container Eateries: MOLO

If you’re a fried chicken lover seeking a unique twist, the Godzilla Black Fried Chicken at MOLO is an absolute must-try. Its glossy black exterior immediately catches your eye. The batter is just the right thickness—crispy on the outside while keeping the inside tender and juicy. Dip it into the mildly spicy sauce on the side, and you’ll experience a flavor explosion that takes the dish to the next level. MOLO’s distinct fried chicken is arguably one of the most unforgettable eats in the Dadaocheng Container Market.
Dadaocheng Container Eateries: Yanyan Osaka-yak

Are you not in the mood for fried food? Check out this Japanese eatery offering tasty Osaka-yaki (Japanese savory pancakes) and oden. Yanyan Osaka-yaki has three different pancake flavors: the classic teriyaki pork, Korean-style kimchi pork, and the seafood-loaded version with shrimp, crab sticks, and more. Made fresh to order, each Osaka-yaki sports a golden, crispy exterior topped with mouthwatering mayo and bonito flakes. Every bite bursts with filling, making for a heavenly taste that pairs perfectly with a backdrop of dazzling fireworks.
Dadaocheng Container Eateries: Thai Xiang

If Thai cuisine is more your style, don’t miss Thai Xiang. They serve classics like crispy fried chicken with chili sauce, refreshing green papaya salad, and fragrant grilled meat skewers. However, the star of the show is their golden, crunchy Moon Shrimp Cakes (going poad). Freshly made to order, these piping hot shrimp cakes feature a crispy shell with thick, springy shrimp paste inside. Dip them in tangy Thai sweet-and-sour sauce for a mouthful of bliss—you might just finish the whole plate before you know it!

What’s a fireworks night without a drink in hand? If craft beer is your thing, grab a pint of Le Ble d’Or. From sparkling wines and specialty cocktails to their classic draft beers, this place has something for everyone. Each option on the menu lists the alcohol content, so you can choose precisely how much fun you want to have. Want to keep it light and refreshing? Go for the kumquat lemon beer.
