Be careful when eating, as it can be boiling right after frying. With each bite, the half-cooked egg yolk flows into your mouth, combining with the crispy pancake for an irresistible treat. The shop offers classic cinnamon sugar, plain white sugar, and rich cocoa flavors, with six pieces per serving and the option to mix flavors. Freshly fried churros have a crispy exterior and soft interior. The plain ones highlight the dough’s natural flavor and are great for kids, while the rich cocoa is not overly sweet. “Xiang Ji Sorghum Wine Sausage” originated in Hsinchu City and is a local favorite. They serve both sausages and “small sausage in big sausage” (Taiwanese hot dog)! Interestingly, their sausages are bigger than the sticky rice sausage, and they’re grilled to be juicy with a subtle sorghum flavor. The sticky rice sausage has a distinct grainy texture. While you might need to wait a bit since everything is grilled to order, the delicious taste and quality ingredients make it worth the wait!

Hsinchu Flower Market Candied Sweet Potatoes 新竹花市地瓜拔絲
Do you love the texture of candied sweet potatoes? “Hsinchu Flower Market Candied Sweet Potatoes” offers large and small portions. The exterior is fried to a crispy texture and coated in a crunchy sugar glaze. One bite reveals the soft and sweet interior, making it incredibly delicious! In addition to operating at Zhubei Night Market every Saturday and Sunday evening, they also have stalls at the Hsinchu Flower Market during the day. “Sweetheart Sugar-Coated Mochi” offers a variety of flavors, including original, peanut, sesame, brown sugar, soy flour, cocoa, matcha, plum powder, purple sweet potato, Dome cocoa, honey, condensed milk, and more. Each serving comes with four pieces, and you can choose two flavors. The mochi is soft and chewy, and as you savor each bite, the flavor of the coating powder slowly comes through.
