The Changhua Glass Matsu Temple, also known as the most beautiful Matsu temple in Taiwan, is entirely constructed from glass, including the temple itself, statues, and palanquins. It is not only the first of its kind in Taiwan but also the world’s only one. During the day, sunlight floods the entire space, creating a bright and transparent atmosphere. The changing sunlight reveals different beautiful shadows and reflections. At night, with over 100,000 colorful LED lights, the temple becomes even more dazzling and stunning. It becomes increasingly beautiful as the night deepens, making every angle picturesque and worthy of admiration!

Originally located in Sanzhi, the Shell Temple has relocated and transformed into the new Stonegate Coral Shell Temple, which is even larger and more fantastical. It is constructed with various beautiful shells and corals, showcasing abundant marine elements. The temple is incredibly dazzling and magnificent, especially with its coral tunnel, where visitors feel like they are strolling through an undersea dragon palace. It’s truly eye-catching!

The Fahua Temple on Golden Dragon Mountain is located in Zhongliao Township, Nantou. Even from a distance, you can see two huge golden dragons shining brightly, coiling on the mountain. These two magnificent dragons, costing tens of millions to construct, are part of the Golden Dragon Mountain Fahua Temple. Climbing up the stairs to the temple entrance, which stretches 80 meters and extends to 110 meters when straightened, you’ll witness the grandeur of the largest golden dragon statues in Asia. The exquisite carvings make the dragon heads and tails lifelike, exuding an aura of majesty and becoming the newest highlight and must-visit landmark in Zhongliao, Nantou.

The Wunian Qiansui Park at Maming Mountain in Yunlin is the largest temple-themed park in Taiwan and also boasts the largest maze in the country. With a total of 73 checkpoints, completing the maze takes about an hour or more. Along the way, you’ll encounter various peculiar rocks and stones, undulating paths, beautiful mountain caves, as well as the stunning Rainbow Bridge, and the unexpected encounter with a gigantic dinosaur. It’s filled with fun and challenging elements, making it suitable for both adults and children!

Xian Fo Temple is located in Guoxing Township, Nantou County. The temple is imbued with a Zen atmosphere and Japanese garden style, featuring Japanese-style hand-washing stations, Japanese stone lanterns, a magnificent garden of 500 Arhat statues, a giant stone lotus seat, and picturesque bridges over flowing water. It’s a must-visit spot for photography, with its serene and lush green surroundings making visitors feel as if they’ve entered a fairyland.
